General Laborer

General Laborers are responsible for supporting stone production operations including machine

feeding, material handling, and maintenance support.

Stone Processing

Employees will:

Feed raw stone into veneer saw machines safely and efficiently

Maintain consistent machine feed rates to support production targets

Monitor material flow to prevent jams or equipment damage

Material Handling

Employees will:

Sort stone materials by size, quality, and type

Stack finished veneer products in designated storage areas

Move materials safely using proper lifting techniques

Maintain organized pallet stacking for shipping and storage

Equipment Maintenance

General Laborers are responsible for basic machine upkeep including:

Daily Tasks

Check for abnormal noises or operation issues

Clean debris and slurry buildup around equipment

Weekly Tasks

Assist maintenance personnel with scheduled lubrication

Inspect work areas for wear or hazards

Report any mechanical issues immediately

Housekeeping

Employees must maintain a safe and clean work environment by:

Removing debris from work areas

Keeping aisles and walkways clear

Organizing tools and materials properly

Assisting with end-of-shift cleanup procedures
