Pay Rate: $80.56/hr - $90.63/hr

Additional Information

  • 12-month contract with high likelihood of extension.

Job Description

Insight Global is partnering with a leading construction organization to hire a Construction Manager - Electrical Systems II for a major high-tech manufacturing project in Boise, Idaho. This multi-billion-dollar project is one of the most significant industrial construction efforts currently underway and is expected to extend through 2028.

We are seeking a highly experienced construction professional with a strong electrical background to lead planning, coordination, and execution efforts across critical electrical infrastructure systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project scope, coordinating contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of complex electrical construction packages.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-construction planning activities including equipment procurement, subcontractor coordination, bid reviews, and scope development.
  • Review construction documents and drawings to ensure alignment between project requirements and trade partner responsibilities.
  • Manage project documentation, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Facilitate startup meetings, onboarding sessions, and large-scale project coordination meetings.
  • Monitor project progress, quality standards, safety compliance, and schedule performance.
  • Support commissioning activities and final project turnover.
  • Drive issue resolution and maintain project momentum throughout all phases of construction.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction management experience supporting large-scale or high-tech construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70, IEEE standards, and electrical construction best practices.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar construction management software.
  • Background in subcontractor management, procurement, equipment buyout, and pre-construction planning.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Experience managing electrical contractors performing medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution work.
  • Ability to successfully drive execution within complex industrial, manufacturing, or mission-critical construction environments.
