Associate Litigation Attorney

Duke Evett is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of litigation experience to join our growing Boise-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys active litigation, meaningful client interaction, and the opportunity to assume increasing responsibility in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Duke Evett is a rapidly growing litigation firm representing healthcare systems, medical professionals, attorneys, architects, engineers, real estate professionals, and other professionals in complex liability matters throughout Idaho. Our attorneys also handle employment, product liability, transportation/trucking, and commercial litigation matters for a diverse range of clients.

The ideal candidate will possess strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced practice. Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and prepare written analysis
• Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and insurers
• Collaborate with partners and team members to develop litigation strategy

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active admission to the Idaho State Bar, or ability to obtain admission promptly
• 2-5 years of litigation experience preferred
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture
