Position Overview
An established architecture, engineering, and construction organization is seeking a motivated, self-driven Electrical Engineer to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to projects from initial design through construction completion, providing exposure to both engineering design and construction operations. Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in infrastructure and building electrical design.
Active Texas Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
Proficiency with BIM and drafting software, including AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including:- Lighting design
Experience providing construction support services.
Ability to prepare and review electrical plans, specifications, and technical reports.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
Working knowledge of applicable U.S. building and electrical codes, including NEC, IEEE, NESC, IESNA, and IECC standards.
Experience serving as a lead Electrical Engineer on project teams.
Practical field experience and/or construction support experience.
Project management experience.
Willingness to travel for occasional site visits.
Experience estimating electrical system design efforts.
