Insurance Sales Agent

We are looking for a motivated, organized Licensed Insurance Agent responsible for providing customers with comprehensive insurance advice, selling insurance products, and handling customer service inquiries. This is a great opportunity to join the Farmers team and our agency; we've served the community for over 20 years and are growing!

We are willing to train, but having a current New Mexico insurance license is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products including auto, home, renters, life, business, and other insurance policies.
• Identify customers’ insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
• Generate new business through referrals, networking, community involvement, marketing, and lead follow-up.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with policyholders.
• Explain insurance coverage, policy terms, premiums, deductibles, and exclusions to customers.
• Prepare quotes, applications, policy changes, renewals, and other documentation.

Qualifications

• A current New Mexico insurance license is a plus!
• Strong communication, sales, negotiation, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to build relationships and generate new business.
• Comfortable working toward sales and performance goals.
• Basic knowledge of insurance products and financial concepts.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
