Job Description:
We are seeking an Electrician to join our manufacturing team in Millington, MD. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and industrial equipment throughout the facility. The Electrician will support production operations by minimizing downtime, ensuring equipment reliability, and resolving complex electrical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility electrical systems and production equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical malfunctions and perform repairs to minimize production downtime.
  • Work with motors, drives, control panels, relays, breakers, electrical distribution systems, and industrial machinery.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility electrical systems.
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Use electrical testing and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  • Complete all work safely and in compliance with applicable electrical codes, regulations, and company standards.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as an Industrial Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, or in a similar electrical maintenance role.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical prints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience working with industrial electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of motors, drives, control circuits, PLC-controlled equipment, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, electrical meters, and diagnostic equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting manufacturing or production facilities.
  • Background in preventive maintenance programs.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement and equipment upgrade projects.
