Responsibilities
- Set up and operate tube mill equipment to manufacture steel tubing to specifications.
- Monitor production, make machine adjustments, and ensure product quality.
- Perform inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete minor maintenance as needed.
- Change tooling and assist with machine setups and product changeovers.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production documents.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment when required.
