MRI Technologist
Location: Wenatchee, Washington

- Shift: Evenings (E/N)
- Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift Timing: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
Required Qualifications & Certifications
- Active BLS certification.
- Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Graduate of a radiologic technology program approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- ARRT registration in MRI.
- Minimum 2 years of previous MRI experience required.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Prepare for and perform MRI examinations while operating assigned equipment safely.
- Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures to ensure effective utilization of the MRI scanner.
- Perform IV access using sterile techniques and administer contrast media under physician supervision.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the scanner and associated equipment according to infection control policies.
- Follow MRI safety and quality assurance procedures.
- Use PACS, RIS, and current EMR systems efficiently and complete required examination documentation.
- Meet continuing education requirements established by regulatory entities.
- Lift patients when necessary and when safe to do so according to policy.
- Transfer patients using safe ergonomic techniques and appropriate patient-handling equipment, including hydraulic lifts, with assistance from family members or caregivers when needed.
