QC Scientist

Job Title: QC Scientist
Location: Round Rock, TX 78665
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $35–$38/hour on W2
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a QC Scientist with 2+ years of industry experience in analytical testing and quality control. The ideal candidate will perform testing of raw materials, finished products, in-process samples, and reference materials using HPLC, GC, chromatography, and titration techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform analytical testing, stability studies, method validation, and troubleshooting.
• Operate HPLC, GC, and other analytical instruments.
• Support OOS investigations, data analysis, and quality control release testing.
• Prepare technical reports, test specifications, batch records, and laboratory documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 17034, and applicable quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on method development, validation, and process improvements.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures and applicable PPE requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Chemistry or a related life science field.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, chromatography, and titration.
• Knowledge of analytical methods, laboratory documentation, and quality systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and technical writing skills.
