Job Description
About the Role A Day in the Life

Kick off your first shift at 6, settle in for a 12-hour window, and start by syncing with engineers on the production plan. You’ll prep equipment, perform setups, and run calibrations to ready lines for the day. As builds progress, you’ll leverage computer-based tools to capture operating data in real time, making on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment to keep quality on target. When something isn’t quite right, you’ll perform rework and execute quality tests on parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Throughout the shift, expect to participate in controlled experiments alongside engineers and help refine methods and procedures that improve how we manufacture.

What You’ll Do
  • Support end-to-end manufacturing operations: set-up, calibration, build, rework, and final quality verification.
  • Use sophisticated software to collect and evaluate process data; apply in-process, on-line adjustments to maintain specifications.
  • Assist in developing and improving procedures that control or modify manufacturing processes.
  • Partner with engineers on test runs and experiments; document observations and outcomes.
How You’ll Work
  • Overall Summary: Developing support individual contributor.
  • Nature of Supervision: Works under general supervision with less detailed instructions and moderate peer review.
  • Communication & Influence: Collaborates mainly within the department, exchanging information that may require explanation or interpretation to align and reach agreement.
