Production Associate

Join the Value Added Distributors team! We are seeking a full-time Production Associate to join us in in New Philadelphia, OH. In this role, you'll assemble hydraulic hoses, support warehouse operations, and help deliver quality products to customers. You'll earn $17.00 per hour while enjoying a comprehensive benefits package.

ABOUT THIS PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE ROLE

You'll work with hydraulic hose components, accurately cutting and assembling products while following quality and safety standards. You'll complete inspection paperwork, maintain inventory records, assist with shipping and receiving activities, and become cross-trained across multiple business functions. You'll also support product deliveries and customer restocking efforts while helping your team meet production schedules and customer expectations.

This position works Monday-Friday from 6:30 AM-3:00 PM with overtime as needed.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 21+ years old to drive a company vehicle
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Willing to learn and follow standard practices
• Strong communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read tape measures and digital calipers (length, width, thickness, diameter or depth of an object or hole)
• Ability to type 25+ WPM
• Ability to read and interpret technical work instructions and documents
• Ability to use various equipment-saws, crimpers, forklift, etc.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus
• Forklift driver certified is a plus, but we will provide training
