The Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for driving financial performance through advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. This role partners cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Revenue & Underwriting (R&U), Business Intelligence, and Development to enhance financial visibility, improve forecasting accuracy, and support enterprise-wide planning initiatives across Fortis’s merchant portfolio.
This position plays a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and process optimization.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or financial analysis. Advanced financial modeling skills with strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, scenario modeling). Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a multi-department environment. Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Experience preparing executive-level financial presentations and reporting packages. Ability to analyze large data sets and translate findings into actionable insights. Experience in payments, fintech, or financial services preferred. Experience with ERP and reporting tools (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive, Power BI, or similar) preferred.
