About the Role: We're a fast-growing third-party logistics (3PL) company in Pittsburgh, PA, and we're looking for a hardworking Warehouse Laborer to join our team. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and want to grow with a company that's on the rise, this is the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:- NOTE: Our warehouse handle mainly big and bulky items found inside homes, i.e., furniture, mattresses, fitness equipment, etc.
- Pick and stage outbound shipments accurately and efficiently
- Receive and unload inbound freight and verify against packing lists
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Operate forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment
- Manage trash daily - separate trash from cardboard. Cut up cardboards to put in baler.
- Manage a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment; sweep floors, ensure tools, tape, shrink wrap, and pallets are where it belongs.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed
- Manage all janitorial needs including bathroom cleaning, office vacuuming, etc.
- Will be asked to support the field when busy.
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols and company procedures
Requirements:- Prior warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment experience preferred but not required. We will train the right person.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
- Comfortable standing, bending, and moving for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic
- Basic ability to read and verify shipping labels and packing slips
- Experience operating a forklift is a plus
