Contract to Hire
Title: FinishingOperator
Location: On-site in Rochester, NY
Compensation: $17-22/hour (Experience based)
Responsibilities:
-Perform the process of taking finished press pieces and making them customer ready
-Read and understand job packet and finishingrequirements of specified job
-Cut core and printoutcore labels
-Produce customer specified rolls from parent roll using tabletop and arpeco devices
-Inspect finished product and sign off on other employee work
Qualifications:
-HS Diploma or GED required
-Positive, reliable, and willingness to learn
-Problem solving skills and sound judgement
-Ability to perform basic math and measure with a ruler
-Ability to lift/move 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds
-Ability to read/interpret documents and speak effectively with team
-Tech-savvy, with ability to be trained on in-house software
