Schedule: 40 hours/week | No weekends | No on-call

Pay Rate
Local: $2,600 - $2,700/week
Traveler: $2,800 - $2,900/week

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced RN with recent critical care, pre-operative, and PACU experience to provide perioperative nursing care and support recovery patients.
Required Qualifications
Active New Jersey RN license or valid multistate compact license.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
Minimum 2 recent years of critical care, pre-operative, and recovery/PACU experience.
Strong telemetry experience; telemetry certification required.
Current AHA BLS certification.
Current AHA ACLS certification.
Current PALS certification.
Demonstrated expertise in caring for patients on ventilators.
Strong clinical assessment, patient monitoring, and perioperative nursing skills.
Ability to work in a hybrid Pre-Op/PACU role and support other pre-op/PACU areas as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
BSN.
3+ years of PACU experience.
Responsibilities
Assess patients before and after surgical or procedural interventions.
Develop, implement, and document individualized nursing care plans.
Assist physicians and healthcare professionals in delivering safe, effective patient care.
Monitor vital signs, clinical status, and recovery progress.
Provide specialized care for patients requiring ventilator support.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care according to clinical priorities.
Deliver pre-operative preparation and post-anesthesia recovery care.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and provide appropriate care for telemetry patients.
Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and patient-centered care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and patient safety.
Float to other pre-operative and PACU areas when required.
