Civil Engineer / Project Engineer (PE) – Austin, TX
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer / Project Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our engineering team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering design, land development, and infrastructure projects, along with an active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage civil engineering projects, including site development, grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and roadway improvements.
- Prepare and review engineering plans, calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, permitting, and quality control.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and design staff.
- Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of civil engineering experience.
- Active Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience with land development, site design, drainage, and utility infrastructure preferred.
- Knowledge of Austin-area permitting requirements and local design standards is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
