Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for families, residents, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our administrative staff. Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephones, determine the nature of the call, and direct callers to appropriate personnel or departments

  • Receive and deliver messages or transfer calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable

  • Provide administrative assistance to the administrative staff, including scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies

  • Maintain an adequate liaison with families and residents, ensuring that they receive prompt and courteous attention

  • Monitor presence and location of sales representatives in the facility

  • Coordinate staff meetings and maintain minutes of such meetings, as directed

  • Assist in scheduling department working hours, personnel, work assignments, etc., as necessary

  • Participate in workshops, seminars, and training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in long-term care

Requirements:

  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Must be able to understand the English language

  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action in a timely fashion

  • Must be knowledgeable of supply practices, procedures, and guidelines

  • Must possess the ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc.

  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
