Summary/Objective:
The Electrical Apprentice assists journeyman electricians and foremen with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems. This position performs electrical tasks under supervision while following established safety procedures, electrical codes, and company standards.
Essential Functions:

· Assist journeyman electricians and foremen with installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
· Assist with bending and installing conduit, pulling wire, making connections, and installing electrical panels, fixtures, and other electrical apparatus.
· Gather, transport, and organize electrical materials, tools, and equipment needed for daily operations.
· Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, blueprints, and installation instructions under supervision.
· Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas, including proper storage of tools, materials, and equipment.
· Follow all company safety policies, electrical codes, and supervisor instructions while performing assigned duties.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the electrical field required.
· Valid Texas Electrical Apprentice License required.
· Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, conduit installation, and electrical tools.
· Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment.
· Ability to follow instructions, work effectively with a crew, and perform assigned tasks under supervision.
· Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in various construction environments.
