A day in the life

At Alliance Laundry Systems, we build with integrity and lead with care. As a Production Cell Team Leader, you’ll guide a tightknit crew of 8–12 manufacturing professionals under the direction of a Group Leader. Your day starts with a quick safety and goals huddle, moves through coaching and problemsolving on the line, and ends with clean handoffs to the next shift. You’ll blend servant leadership with disciplined execution to keep quality high, production flowing, and your team growing.

What you’ll drive
  • Onboard and coach new hires, acting as the primary point of contact in your area.
  • Run daily preshift meetings to align the team on safety, quality, HR updates, and output targets.
  • Champion safety: verify procedure adherence and secure appropriate PPE when needed.
  • Foster continuous improvement by soliciting ideas and turning them into action.
  • Escalate production or systemic issues promptly to the Group Leader.
  • Maintain strong crossshift communication with fellow Team Leads and Leaders.
  • Track and update KPIs and other operational metrics for your zone.
  • Create, maintain, and audit Team Member Standard Work to ensure consistency.
  • Complete HourbyHour boards, 5S audits, Dupont STOP observations, and manage work stacks.
  • Coach through conflict to resolution, with support from Group and Area Leaders.
  • Use SAP to support planning, materials flow, and production accuracy.
  • Pitch in on other duties as needed to keep the operation moving.
Shifts available
  • 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Overtime (as needed): Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM (8 hours)
  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM. Overtime (as needed): Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM (8 hours)
  • 3rd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Overtime (as needed): Friday, 8:00 PM - 4:00 AM (8 hours)
  • Weekend Days: Friday - Sunday, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Overtime (as needed): Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM (8 hours)
  • Weekend Nights: Friday - Sunday, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM. Overtime (as needed): Monday - Thursday, 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM (8 hours)
What you bring
  • Experience leading people (workplace or volunteer), with proven leadership results.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes preferred.
  • A peoplefirst, servantleader mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; sharp problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Work environment and physical expectations
  • Extended standing, occasional sitting; manual dexterity; stooping and bending as needed.
  • Preemployment physical, including the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
