General Laborer

Job Title: Concrete Form Laborer
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Dorsey, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM until production is complete
Pay: $18–$20/hour, based on experience

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and hardworkingConcrete Form Laborer to join our team in Dorsey, IL. This is a hands-on position responsible for setting, assembling, aligning, and removing forms used in concrete production.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, comfortable with physical work, and takes pride in doing quality work. Previous construction, concrete, carpentry, or manufacturing experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Set, assemble, align, and secure forms for concrete production
• Measure and position forms according to production requirements
• Prepare materials and work areas for concrete pours
• Strip and remove forms after concrete has cured
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and properly
• Follow production specifications and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals
• Assist with other concrete, form-setting, and production duties as needed

Requirements

• Previous construction, concrete, carpentry, form-setting, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read basic measurements and follow instructions
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools
• Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including standing, bending, lifting, reaching, and working with tools
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Safety-conscious and dependable
• Willingness to learn and take direction
