An inpatient pharmacist opportunity is available in Berlin, NH, seeking a dedicated professional to support hospital pharmacy operations. This contract position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with full-time hours and a rotating weekend commitment every third weekend. An ASAP start is preferred.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00/7:30 AM to 4:30/5:00 PM
- Rotating weekends every 3rd weekend
- Saturday/Sunday shifts from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care across multiple hospital units including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency Department
- Independently manage medication distribution and clinical services, especially during weekend shifts
- Utilize Meditech for pharmacy information management and Omnicell for automated dispensing systems
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes and ensure safe medication use
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience practicing in a hospital setting
- Confidence and ability to work independently, particularly during weekends
- Proficiency with Meditech systems preferred; familiarity with Omnicell technology is advantageous
- Adaptability to a rural hospital environment with diverse clinical needs

- Berlin, New Hampshire a rural setting requiring flexibility; housing may present challenges and requires careful consideration
