Distribution Associate - 2nd Shift: Freeport, Illinois
Our customer in Freeport, Illinois is looking for a hardworking, detailoriented individual to join their team as a Distribution Associate to work fulltime on 2nd shift. In this role, you will support distribution and warehouse operations by preparing, organizing, and moving materials safely and efficiently to meet production and shipping goals.
Responsibilities of the Distribution Associate:
- Prepare, organize, and move materials to stock locations or for shipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operate a forklift to transport materials throughout the facility (approximately 50% of the shift).
- Load, unload, and stage materials to support distribution and production needs.
- Maintain accuracy when handling materials and preparing shipments.
- Support general warehouse operations, including limited computer and desk work as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaat all times.
- Follow all safety procedures and work instructions.
Distribution Associate Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of forklift experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment required.
- Ability tolift upto 50 lbs. as needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks forthe majority ofthe shift.
- Basic computer skills for limited system or desk work.
- Steeltoed boots required upon start.
- Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance.
Pay for Distribution Associate:$21.50/hour.
