Energy Transport is looking for a Fleet Agent who understands what it takes to keep commercial trucks and trailers on the road.This is a hands-on fleet operations role for someone who knows that every truck sitting in a shop, every overdue PM, and every unresolved equipment issue has an impact on the operation.You’ll work closely with our Fleet Director, terminal teams, drivers, and maintenance vendors to help manage the day-to-day health of our fleet coordinating repairs, tracking preventive maintenance, maintaining fleet systems and records, monitoring equipment, and helping get units back on the road quickly and safely.
You’ll be involved in the daily operation of a commercial truck and trailer fleet, including:
Previous experience working with commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, or similar fleet equipment is strongly preferred..
Basic familiarity with DOT/FMCSA commercial vehicle requirements is preferred.
We are looking for someone who understands fleet equipment not just freight movement.
Strong candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
Experience in dispatch, freight brokerage, or freight sales without direct fleet, equipment, or maintenance experience is not considered equivalent fleet experience for this position.
