We’re partnering with the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) to find an organized and proactive Program Manager III to join its Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) State Interagency Team.
Reporting to the CCBHC Program Director, this role coordinates work across policy, fiscal, clinical, data, and Medicaid experts while supporting the implementation, operations, and long-term sustainability of Rhode Island’s CCBHC program. The ideal candidate is a strong project manager who can keep complex, multi-agency work on track, communicate clearly with many stakeholders, and work independently.
Pay & Job Highlights:
Pay Rate: $55.00 per hour
Location: Cranston, RI
Responsibilities of the Program Manager III:
- Define project scopes, goals, milestones, and deadlines across CCBHC workstreams.
- Build project schedules, assign tasks to cross-agency team members, and track progress.
- Serve as a main point of contact for State teams, providers, and partners, with clear and timely updates.
- Plan and facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, record decisions, and follow up on action items.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, and raise risks to the Program Director early.
Qualifications of the Program Manager III:
- Proven project or program management experience, including planning, scheduling, and tracking deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to organize and lead multi-stakeholder meetings and drive follow-through on next steps.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills for managing multiple complex projects at once.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and adapt to changes in scope or timelines.
