RPh on the Go is seeking a Wisconsin-licensed Staff Pharmacist to provide maternity leave coverage for a well-established, family-owned independent pharmacy in Phillips, Wisconsin. This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact in an underserved rural community where reliable pharmacist coverage is critical.
The pharmacy is open to pharmacists with full-time or partial availability, including candidates who can commit to only a few shifts each week.
Position Details
- Independent retail pharmacy setting
- PioneerRx software
- Work alongside experienced pharmacy technicians
- Opportunity to begin training prior to start date, if available
- Travel candidates welcome
Schedule
- Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Rotating Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (every other Saturday)
- Pharmacists working Saturday shifts receive an additional weekday off
- Pharmacy closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day
Responsibilities
- Prescription verification
- Patient counseling and customer service
- Immunization administration
- Supervision of pharmacy technicians
- Compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- General retail pharmacy operations
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license in good standing
- At least 1 year of pharmacist experience post-graduation
- Certified and comfortable administering immunizations
- Strong communication and patient care skills
