Packer

The packer accurately prints, labels, and packs units from multiple production lines and transports finished products to the shipping area. This role manages the packing area to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time to help meet customer shipping deadlines.

• Print labels and documentation accurately for each unit or order.
• Apply labels correctly to products, cartons, or pallets according to established procedures.
• Pack units safely and efficiently to prevent damage and maintain product quality.
• Organize and manage the packing area for multiple production lines at the same time.
• Move and transport finished products from the packing area to the designated shipping area.
• Use RF scanners or similar devices to pick, track, and verify orders as needed.
• Perform general labor tasks related to packing, order picking, and material handling.
• Complete all assigned packing tasks in a timely manner to support on-time customer shipments.
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines and standard operating procedures while working in the packing area.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient work area throughout the shift.

• At least 1 year of packaging or packing experience.
• Proven ability to perform packing and packaging tasks in a production or warehouse environment.
• Experience with order picking and handling general labor duties.
• Ability to use RF scanners or similar handheld devices for order picking and tracking.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate labeling, packing, and order fulfillment.
• Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines and support customer shipping schedules.

• Experience working on or around multiple production lines.
• Comfort performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Ability to stay organized and manage work in a busy packing area.
• Willingness to follow established processes and standard operating procedures.

This is a full-time, on-site role in a production and warehouse setting. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. You will work in and around multiple production lines, packing areas, and the shipping area, performing general labor, packing, and order picking tasks. The work involves standing for extended periods, handling products and materials, and using RF scanners or similar handheld equipment. The environment is fast-paced and deadline-driven, with a focus on safety, organization, and teamwork.

This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
