We are looking for a Financial Operations Analyst to join a collaborative finance team in Bristol, Pennsylvania. This role blends core accounting responsibilities with treasury support, helping maintain accurate records, manage daily cash activity, and contribute to reliable financial reporting. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and cash operations, along with the ability to work effectively across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Record and review journal entries while supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities to keep financial data accurate and current.
• Reconcile general ledger, balance sheet, and bank accounts, researching differences and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Track daily cash movement and prepare regular cash position updates to support informed financial decision-making.
• Coordinate payment activity, including wire transactions and intercompany transfers, while ensuring proper documentation and control.
• Assist with short-range cash forecasting by analyzing balances, expected inflows, and upcoming disbursements.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and review fluctuations to identify notable variances or unusual activity.
• Partner with accounts payable and accounts receivable teams to support smooth processing of cash receipts and outgoing payments.
• Maintain organized banking records, respond to transaction-related inquiries, and work with financial institutions to address account activity issues.
• Support audit requests by compiling schedules and documentation that substantiate account balances and transaction history.
• Recommend process enhancements that strengthen cash management reporting, improve efficiency, and reinforce internal controls.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting with exposure to treasury, banking, or cash management activities.
• Working knowledge of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and close processes.
• Experience handling cash transactions, bank activity, wire payments, or short-term cash forecasting is strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis for financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting or ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.
• Understanding of internal controls, financial accuracy standards, and organized documentation practices.
• Clear communication, sound analytical judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
