About the Role: Porto Bello Inc is looking for a passionate and skilled Pizza Maker to join our team in Boston, MA! This is your chance to craft delicious, high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced, energetic kitchen environment. Responsibilities:- Prepare and hand-stretch pizza dough to order specifications
- Apply sauces, cheeses, and toppings with consistency and attention to detail
- Operate and monitor pizza ovens to ensure proper cooking temperatures and times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
- Follow food safety and handling guidelines at all times
- Assist with prep work including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and stocking stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Requirements:- Prior experience in pizza making, dough preparation, or a similar kitchen role preferred
- Familiarity with commercial pizza ovens
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume service
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food handler certification is a plus
