Senior Technical Project Manager supporting complex, enterprise-wide IT programs in an Agile environment. This role partners with business and IT leadership to drive program strategy, oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensure successful delivery against business objectives, and promote Agile best practices across cross-functional engineering and development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage one or more highly complex, enterprise-wide IT programs consisting of multiple projects.
- Develop program strategies, business cases, and high-level project plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Drive Agile methodologies and Scrum practices, ensuring proper adoption of Scrum values, principles, and processes.
- Coach teams and individuals on Agile processes, tools, and servant leadership principles.
- Provide regular status reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), schedules, resource utilization, and milestone delivery.
- Monitor project scope, timelines, budgets, and dependencies; recommend and implement adjustments as business needs evolve.
- Ensure successful delivery of project portfolio initiatives on time, within budget, and aligned to strategic goals.
- Track key project milestones and provide guidance to project teams to address risks and execution challenges.
- Establish milestones, monitor adherence to plans and schedules, identify delivery risks, and drive mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate activities across multiple engineering and development teams.
- Serve as a liaison between engineering and deployment teams to ensure requirements and design considerations support successful deployment and long-term sustainability.
- Communicate program strategy, priorities, progress, and changes to IT leadership, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Partner with senior business leaders to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that support enterprise goals.
- 5-7 years of project management experience in an Agile environment.
- Project Management certification required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience serving as a Scrum Master with a strong understanding of Agile leadership and servant leadership principles.
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience managing complex, enterprise-level IT programs and portfolios.
