Schedule: Monday - Friday | 11:30 AM - 9:00 PM

Rotating weekends and holidays required

We are seeking a reliable Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals in a fast-paced healthcare dining environment. The ideal candidate has previous cooking or food service experience, enjoys working as part of a team, and takes pride in providing excellent food and customer service.

• Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold meals following recipes and quality standards
• Operate grill, saut, and food prep stations as needed
• Prepare made-to-order menu items while maintaining quality and efficiency
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and HACCP compliance at all times
• Assist with special dietary meal preparation and catering events
• Receive, stock, and organize food and kitchen supplies
• Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Provide friendly service to residents, guests, and staff

• Previous cook, line cook, food preparation, or culinary experience preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals consistently
• Experience working in a healthcare, retirement community, hospitality, or restaurant environment is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed
• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills

Professional commercial kitchen within a healthcare and retirement community. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with standard kitchen equipment with standard kitchen equipment and moderate noise levels.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mechanicsburg, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
