Manufacturing Production Supervisor I

• Location: Tempe Milk Plant, 1115 W. Alameda Drive, Tempe, AZ 85282
• Duration: Short-term contract (26 Oct 2026 – 23 Jan 2027). No extension or contract-to-hire possibility.
• Schedule: Shift 1 (12:00 PM – 8:30 PM, Mon–Fri). Must be open to Saturdays and overtime.
• Interview Process: On-site interview with the manager and team.
• Work Authorization: Must be eligible for indefinite employment without restriction.

Core Responsibilities

• Operations: Oversee milk processing, enforce production schedules, and maintain inventory (raw & finished goods).
• Team Leadership: Supervise a unionised workforce, handle performance evaluations, deliver corrective actions, and train personnel.
• Compliance: Enforce strict food safety standards (GMP, FDA, USDA, HACCP, OSHA, EPA).
• Efficiency: Implement Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and maximize equipment uptime.
• Documentation: Maintain production records and reports for management.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing (Must-Have).
• Industry Preference: Strong preference for Dairy/Milk industry experience.
• Methodology: 1+ years of experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and managing diverse/unionised teams.
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Education: HS Diploma or GED required; Degree preferred
