  • Reporting & Tax Support: Assist with payroll reports, reconcile tax files, and research payroll tax notices or discrepancies as needed.

  • Process Improvement: Work with leadership to identify ways to improve payroll systems, processes, and overall efficiency.

  • Compliance: Help ensure payroll practices remain consistent with applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour requirements.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related field.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to research and resolve issues.

  • Comfortable working with computer systems, spreadsheets, and word-processing programs.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills when working with employees and community leaders.

  • Ability to handle confidential employee and payroll information professionally.

  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly.
