Senior Manager, Field Operations, MRO Services

ALLSERV | Houston, Texas

Reports to: Vice President of Operations

Type: Full time

Start: Immediate

About the opportunity

Every asset intensive company has the same problem: nobody fully trusts the inventory and equipment data in their ERP. Part numbers are wrong, manufacturers are hidden behind OEM labels, duplicates multiply, and the people who need a part at two in the morning cannot find it. For twenty years the industry has answered with periodic cleansing projects that decay the moment they finish.

ALLSERV built ARIVA to end that cycle. ARIVA is an inventory intelligence platform that turns the work companies already have to do, physical counts, cycle counts and asset walkdowns, into a continuous master data improvement engine. Field teams capture items and nameplates on a mobile app that works offline on any rig, plant or warehouse. ARIVA then uses AI and an industrial knowledge graph to identify the true manufacturer and part number, extract specifications, detect duplicates, flag discontinued items and deliver governed, auditable corrections back to SAP, IFS or any ERP. Master data stops being a project and becomes a process.

Our customers include offshore drilling contractors, energy companies and industrial manufacturers, and demand is ahead of our ability to deliver. We are hiring a Senior Manager, Field Operations to roll ARIVA out across large multi site programs, run the field teams that execute them, and help build the operating model for a company that is growing fast and finally solving the inventory and asset master data problem for good.

What you will do

• Lead large, deadline driven field programs: wall to wall inventory counts, asset and equipment verification, and warehouse optimization across multiple sites running in parallel, onshore and offshore, in the US and internationally.

• Own the program plan from mobilization to closeout: staffing, logistics, site access and credentials, daily production targets, quality control, client reporting and acceptance, all executed through ARIVA.

• Build and run field teams of 30 or more, including ALLSERV staff, contractors and local labor partners, and drive the visa, site access, medical and safety clearance processes that put people on site when the plan says they will be.

• Protect data quality at the point of capture, because the enrichment and catalog services downstream depend on what the field teams collect.

• Manage client stakeholders across finance, maintenance and supply chain, including daily progress reporting, issue escalation, exception review and location closeout under contractual KPIs.

• Hand field findings cleanly into the catalog and master data services team so the ongoing governance work starts from a verified baseline.

• Standardize how we deliver: mobilization playbooks, team structures, production norms, quality checks and closeout packs that make every engagement repeatable.

• Own engagement level profitability: staffing plans, utilization, reimbursables, change control and margin against the approved budget.

• Develop team leads and count supervisors who can run sites without you present.

• Partner with sales on scoping and pricing so what we sell is what we can deliver, and bring field reality back to the product team so ARIVA keeps getting better.

What you bring

• Seven or more years in materials, supply chain, warehouse or maintenance operations in oil and gas, offshore drilling or heavy industry, including time on site. You know what a rig storeroom or plant warehouse looks like and how a permit system, crew change and site access actually work.

• Proven management of large field programs: 30 or more people, multiple sites in parallel, contractual KPIs and schedule commitments.

• Experience mobilizing personnel internationally, ideally in the Middle East. Familiarity with Saudi Arabia, Aramco or GCC operator access requirements is a strong advantage.

• Hands on knowledge of SAP or IFS materials and plant maintenance data: material master, storage locations, technical objects and equipment hierarchy.

• Comfortable running operations through a mobile and cloud platform, and demanding about data quality.

• Client facing at the supervisor and manager level: clear written reporting, calm under pressure, able to hold scope and keep the relationship.

• Commercially minded. You read a scope of work for risk, understand margin, and have managed subcontractors and labor suppliers.

• Based in the United States and able to travel heavily during the first several months, including extended international assignments, then about 30 percent.

Strong pluses

• Supply chain or materials manager background with a drilling contractor, operator or industrial company, with a track record running warehouses and field teams. Earlier experience as a materials coordinator or warehouse supervisor is a plus, not the ceiling.

• Maintenance leadership is valued just as highly. A maintenance manager, rig maintenance supervisor or reliability leader who knows equipment, nameplates, CMMS and EAM registers from the asset side, and who leads people well, is an excellent fit. We can teach the inventory side; we cannot teach judgment about equipment.

• Experience with asset verification or walkdown programs against a CMMS or EAM register.

• Arabic language ability.

• Experience standing up a managed service or field operations function in a growing company.

How success is measured

• Programs delivered on the contracted schedule with no contractor attributable penalties, KPIs met and all workstreams accepted by the client.

• Engagement margins at or above the ALLSERV standard.

• A documented, repeatable delivery model in use on every MRO engagement, and a bench of team leads who run sites without you.

• Client references from completed programs.

Compensation

Competitive base salary, program completion bonus tied to delivery outcomes, and an annual bonus tied to engagement margin and delivery KPIs. Travel and international assignment support provided. Details discussed at offer.
