We are seeking Radiologic Technologists (X-Ray) to provide mobile diagnostic imaging services throughout the Richmond, VA area. In this full-time, permanent role, you will travel to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other designated locations to perform accurate diagnostic examinations using portable imaging equipment. The position offers multiple shift options, starting pay of $36+/hr, and opportunities with a nationwide mobile diagnostic services provider.
Responsibilities
- Perform and process X-ray examinations using portable digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment.
- Travel to designated facilities to complete physician-ordered examinations.
- Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically accurate images and transmit studies to radiologists.
- Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to cardiologists.
- Complete examination documentation and scan billing paperwork according to established procedures.
- Communicate with dispatch, management, facility staff, patients, and team members.
- Maintain the company vehicle and portable imaging equipment.
- Follow procedures for equipment handling, patient care, and imaging quality.
Required Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in radiologic technology.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography.
- Virginia radiologic technologist license; limited licenses are not accepted.
- Current Virginia driver's license in good standing.
- Residence within approximately 30 minutes of Richmond, VA.
- Ability to operate portable X-ray equipment in mobile healthcare settings.
- Ability to travel between facilities and work independently.
- Ability to push or pull equipment requiring approximately 50–100 lbs of force, with physical demands varying by location and equipment setup.
- Ability to meet required health and workplace screening requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption documentation as required by the employer.
