Job Description:
The Nursing Manager (NM) is responsible and accountable for resident care, operations and quality of service provided to our residents in compliance with state and federal law and regulations. The NM develops and implements nursing policies, programming, assures adequatestaffing, supervising and evaluating nursing department staff as well as assisting in education, infection control, quality assurance and department audits. Finally, the NM is fiscally responsible utilizing resources in an efficient manner to ensure that each resident achieves the highest level ofcare.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements nursing policies, programming, assures adequate staffing, supervising and evaluating nursing department staff as well as assisting in education, infection control, quality assurance and department audits
- Responsible and accountable for resident care, operations and quality of service provided to our residents in compliance with state and federal law and regulations
- Fiscally responsible utilizing resources in an efficient manner to ensure that each resident achieves the highest level of care.
Requirements/Qualifications:- Current, active license as Nurse in the state of Wisconsin
- Demonstrated experience in long term care nursing and staff supervision.
- Maintains the highest level of professionalism, is organized & a leader
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations relevant to skilled nursing facilities
- Exemplifies the highest level of customer service for each resident & family.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to follow through on projects.
