About the Role:
Worksaver Material Handling Equipment in Shawnee, OK is looking for a skilled Fab Shop Production Welder to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, or welding on metal components in a production fab shop environment
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
- Set up and operate welding equipment, fixtures, and related fab shop machinery
- Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
- Grind, clean, and finish welded assemblies as required for production standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety protocols
- Collaborate with production team members to meet daily output and delivery goals
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a production welder in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG or stick welding experience is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings
- Familiarity with metal fabrication tools including grinders, plasma cutters, and press brakes
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to weld quality and consistency
- Ability to stand, lift, and work in a physically demanding shop environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team-oriented attitude
