Delivery Driver

Mon - Fri | shift time : 7.30 AM to 5 PM

· Avg Hours Worked Weekly: 40 to 50 Hours Weekly

· Will work 8 to 10 hours a day

· Deliveries will be made to commercial and residential sites.

· For this position, applicants are required to complete FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) Drug Screening. Our company goes by Federal Laws, not State Laws. You will need to pass the same drug screening as our Truck Drivers.

Responsibilities:

· Assist the driver with loading and unloading products safely and efficiently at various locations, including residential homes and businesses.

· Help organize and verify packages to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.

· Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.

· Help maintain a clean and tidy delivery vehicle

· Help driver keep and maintain paperwork for deliveries.

· Driver Helper will help install furniture and appliances per customers request.

What Are We Looking For In An Applicant?

• Job Stability: No more than 3 job changes within the last 5 years.
• Residential Delivery Experience: At least 1 year of residential delivery experience is required. Candidates must have experience physically entering customers’ homes to deliver furniture, appliances, or other household items.
• Acceptable Experience: Prior delivery roles with furniture stores, appliance retailers, and home improvement stores, such as Ashley Furniture, Home Depot, Lowe’s, and similar companies.
• Experience That Does Not Qualify: Amazon, DoorDash, Uber, FedEx, and UPS do not count as residential delivery experience because these roles typically do not involve physically entering customers’ homes.
• Other Locations: Warehouse experience may be accepted for locations outside Charlotte. However, Charlotte candidates must meet the residential delivery experience requirement.

Important: For Charlotte, prioritize candidates with a stable work history and at least one full year of hands-on, in-home residential delivery experience.
