We are seeking a Senior Immigration Attorney to lead complex deportation/removal defense, immigration litigation, and appeals while providing strategic legal guidance across high-stakes cases.
Key Responsibilities
Lead complex deportation/removal defense, USCIS, humanitarian, and immigration litigation matters.
Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and BIA.
Handle complex BIA appeals, I-601/I-212 waivers, criminal bars, fraud-related matters, and eligibility challenges.
Serve as lead counsel through case strategy, filing, and hearings.
Supervise two Associate Attorneys and their Paralegals and provide legal guidance and mentorship.
Review attorney work product before filing or external submission.
Handle complex client matters and escalate significant issues to firm leadership.
Collaborate with leadership on litigation strategy, case quality, and legal best practices.
Qualifications
Texas Bar admission or Board Certification preferred.
10+ years of U.S. immigration law experience across removal, USCIS, humanitarian matters, and complex litigation.
Experience with EOIR, BIA appeals, I-601/I-212 waivers, and criminal/fraud-related immigration matters.
Proven ability to manage complex caseloads and supervise attorneys/paralegals.
Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
Strong knowledge of professional responsibility and legal ethics.
