General Laborer

Join our team as a Construction General Laborer, where you will contribute to earthmoving and site preparation tasks alongside our lead crew. Utilize hand and power tools effectively, assist heavy equipment operators, and follow instructions to ensure successful completion of projects.

• Perform earthmoving and land clearing tasks.
• Prepare construction sites for further development.
• Utilize hand and power tools such as shovels and drills.
• Assist heavy equipment operators in their daily tasks.
• Follow instructions and collaborate effectively with team members.

• Experience in construction labor, particularly in site preparation and grading.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with others.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, utility construction, concrete work, pipe laying, heavy equipment operation, and earthworks.

• Experience in utility construction is advantageous.
• Currently focusing on land clearing and site preparation, with potential expansion into utility work.

The role is based at the Iron Mountain Data Center Site, a massive campus where you will work outdoors. Comfort with outdoor environments is essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandston, VA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
