Kick off your career in transportation and logistics as a Fleet Trailer Maintenance Trainee. You’ll gain practical experience servicing semi trailers while learning from experienced technicians in a collaborative shop.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with routine inspections and preventive maintenance to meet safety and operational standards.
- Perform entrylevel repairs and adjustments with oversight from senior technicians.
- Support basic diagnostics and recommend solutions for mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean, orderly workstation and follow all safety procedures.
- Accurately document completed tasks and communicate additional repair needs to senior staff.
- Participate in ongoing training to expand technical competencies.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school exposure is beneficial.
- Foundational mechanical knowledge preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to learn quickly and accept direction from experienced team members.
- Comfort operating in a fastpaced environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a teamoriented approach.
- Capability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor as needed.
