Job Overview
Clear Path Restoration is seeking an experienced, organized Project Manager to oversee construction and restoration projects from initial planning through completion. This position is responsible for coordinating crews and subcontractors, managing schedules and budgets, maintaining quality and safety standards, and keeping clients informed throughout each project.
The ideal candidate combines practical construction knowledge with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Success in this role requires managing multiple projects, addressing field challenges promptly, and delivering quality work on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction and restoration projects, including planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating labor, subcontractors, materials, and equipment to meet deadlines.
- Monitor budgets, track expenses, forecast remaining costs, and address potential overruns to support project profitability.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, verify workmanship, and resolve issues affecting safety, quality, cost, or scheduling.
- Provide clear direction to field crews and subcontractors and hold them accountable for project expectations.
- Work closely with the Estimator to review estimates, confirm scopes of work, and identify necessary changes using Xactimate or comparable estimating tools.
- Review plans, specifications, and project documents to ensure work meets contract requirements and applicable building codes.
- Manage project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, photographs, and closeout records.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, management, estimators, field personnel, and subcontractors.
- Lead regular progress meetings and communicate project milestones, challenges, and corrective actions.
- Ensure jobsite activities comply with company safety policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate final inspections, punch-list completion, and project turnover.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing construction or restoration projects from start to finish.
- Strong working knowledge of construction methods, jobsite operations, building codes, and safety practices.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, subcontractors, and cost controls.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, estimates, and scopes of work.
- Proficiency with construction project management software and digital documentation tools.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate teams and maintain professional client relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing deadlines across multiple projects.
- Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with restoration and insurance-related projects.
- Experience with mitigation, roofing, or commercial construction.
- Familiarity with JobTread for project management, Xactimate for estimating, and Bluebeam for document review.
