Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to support our legal team, specializing in workers' compensation cases. The ideal candidate will assist with administrative tasks, communicate effectively with clients, and utilize legal software and Microsoft Office tools to ensure smooth case management. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys handling workers' compensation cases.
- Manage and organize case files, documents, and legal records efficiently.
- Communicate professionally with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information related to their cases.
- Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and reports using Microsoft Office applications.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, court dates, and meetings.
- Ensure compliance with legal procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Support the team in preparing for hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
Experience
- Proven legal administrative experience, preferably within workers' compensation or personal injury law.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
