TMC Staffing is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations within a fast-paced supply chain environment. This role is responsible for supervising employees, coordinating workflow, monitoring productivity, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational and problem-solving skills who can motivate a team, manage competing priorities, and maintain a productive work environment.
Available Shifts: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Production & Operations Management: Oversee daily production activities to ensure workflow efficiency, productivity, and timely completion of assignments.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, coach, and motivate production employees while promoting accountability, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
- Quality Control: Monitor production output to ensure work meets established quality standards and customer requirements.
- Workflow Coordination: Assign tasks, manage staffing levels, prioritize workloads, and adjust operations to meet production demands and deadlines.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
- Performance Management: Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and performance. Provide feedback, address performance concerns, and support continuous improvement.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve production delays, workflow interruptions, equipment issues, and other operational challenges.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, track performance metrics, and communicate operational updates to management.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with management, warehouse personnel, and other departments to support efficient supply chain operations.
Qualifications & Essential Skills
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a production, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or supply chain environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and employee coaching skills.
- Ability to organize workloads, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to monitor productivity, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain reports and production records.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and operational procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and other departments.
