We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer for a full-time, direct-hire position in Greater St. Louis, Missouri. This onsite role supports the planning and execution of construction projects by coordinating project teams, managing documentation and submittals, supporting budgeting and scheduling, and helping ensure project specifications, quality standards, and requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to support timely and cost-effective execution.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
- Manage the submittal process.
- Prepare and manage the Request for Information process.
- Prepare and assist the Project Manager with processing change orders.
- Assist Project Superintendent(s) with maintaining document control.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a construction project engineer, project coordinator, or in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree; Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management is a plus.
- Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam)
- Familiarity with quality, health, and safety standards.
- Knowledge of the A/E/C industry.
- Proficiency with project management software such as Procore and Bluebeam.
