Established in 1937, Colonial Life partners with more than 90,000 businesses nationally, protecting 49 million workers, with local offices in 49 states. We provide voluntary benefits at the worksite that offer employees financial protection when the unexpected moments in life happen, like an accident, illness or injury. Sometimes called “supplemental insurance,” voluntary benefits are used to help fill gaps in major medical and other insurance that only covers direct costs such as doctor’s visits, surgery costs, and medication expenses. Our voluntary insurance products are paid directly to the employee so the money can be used for medical bills or daily expenses.
