Aegis is seeking a Third Shift Mechanic to join our client's organization in Harvard, IL. The position is from 10 pm-6 am. The ideal candidate has the following skills & experience:
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing business.
- Industry: open but, industrial manufacturing or GMP facilities are preferred.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience: circuits, servo motors, drives, sensors, and motion controls.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints & electrical schematics.
- Mechanical experience: able to assemble and disassemble equipment – driven individual who wants to fix it attitude.
- Own their own set of tools
- Able to check on facilities – light bulbs, electrical in the building, etc. (including – snow removal and salting.)
- Experience with compressors, chillers, welding, grinding, soldering.
Nice to have:
- Ability to work with PLCs – troubleshoot and diagnosis issues.
- Able to operate a forklift
- Experience working on flexo or roto graphic printing machines.
