Manufacturing Engineer

100% on site in Torrance, CA.

Pay Rate -

$45-$58/hour DOE (depending on experience). The manager will review experience and skill level to determine the appropriate rate within the range.

Top 3-5 Must Have Skills:

• Experience programming three, four, and five axes mills.
• Experience, using NX programming software.
• Experience, machining, aluminum aerospace parts.
• Experience, creating workholding fixtures and selecting cutting tools for machining of aerospace components.

Creates NC programs for aerospace components. Maximizes efficiency by analyzing material, component geometry, workholding, and equipment utilization. Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification. May require a bachelor's degree in engineering and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
