We are seeking an Electric Motor Mechanic to support a dedicated motor repair team focused on shop-based motor overhauls. This role services AC induction, DC, synchronous, and mixed motor types using standard electrical test equipment, motor analyzers, vibration tools, and specialized repair tools.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose AC induction, DC, synchronous, and mixed motor types.
- Disassemble motors for overhaul and repair.
- Inspect motor components for wear, damage, and serviceability.
- Replace bearings and other repair components as needed.
- Reassemble motors according to repair requirements.
- Perform electrical testing using standard test equipment and motor analyzers.
- Use vibration tools and specialized equipment to support diagnostics.
- Document repair activities and testing results.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in electric motor repair.
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting, motor winding, and insulation testing.
- Experience with bearing replacement and electric motor teardown.
- Ability to read schematics and perform precision measurements.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Safety awareness in a shop-based repair environment.
