Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current and active WI SLP License.
- DPI certification (Department of Education credential).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered.
- Previous experience providing speech therapy in a school-based setting, especially at the elementary level.
- Ability to work onsite (remote/virtual services not included).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and recordkeeping skills.
- Enthusiasm for working with students at diverse stages of development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an elementary caseload, supporting students in developing effective speech, language, and communication skills.
- Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Deliver direct therapy services, using evidence-based strategies in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student progress.
- Document interventions, monitor student growth, and maintain timely records in compliance with district and state protocols.
- Engage in team meetings and contribute to a supportive therapeutic culture.
