School Bus Driver

** Compensation is contingent upon experience and final agreement of terms **

Driver Requirements

· Make sure all students enter and exit bus safely

· Inspect tire pressures, oil levels, windshield wipers, mirrors, and any other details for any issues

· Provides emergency assistance and aid to students in distress

· Sweeping and sanitizing the bus at the end of each shift

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Has obtained Class B CDL License with passenger & school bus endorsements

· Drug and alcohol testing is mandatory

· Demonstrates specific knowledge of all rules of the road

· Possesses a strong sense of direction

· Demonstrates quick response time

· Exhibits cautious and responsible driving habits

· Possesses knowledge of basic first aid procedures

· Capable of acting quickly and calmly in a crisis
